I took it back in a deal and it went straight on ebay as to me its a Rep and dont interest me.

But fook me after days of answering idiots questions i get this one today.

just that i know 'genuine cossie wings' feck up rep arches, making the wheel look as if its too far back, but you're pics seem to have been taken with this in mind.

So i got this back

mate, real cossie front arches need modified to make the front wheels sit in the middle of the arch.

if you didnt know, escort cosworths are based on a sierra floorpan which is different from an escort one. also the hubs and front suspension/wishbone set up is completely different. hence the GENUINE cossie arches will make the wheels on ANY replica sit too far back in the arch.

as for rear 1/4 panels, how were they fitted? was the full original metal 1/4 cut out and the new one welded in place?

tbh mate i dont think you dont know as much as appear to on the listing. i asked a genuine original question, simply because i know after quite a while of trying to find companys to custom manufacture front cosworth wide arches for a mk5.

never sold a car on there but in the last 3 weeks I have sold 14 car related parts on ebay and never had an issue at all, cars might bring out the dopey sods tho!!

it was a genuine question as i was genuinely interested ( unfortunately i am an "WANABEE ESCOS Guru" simply because i cant afford a genuine escos)

the reason i asked the first question was because there are several people who list 'Cossie Reps' with 'All GENUINE PANELS' when in fact they are fibreglass. of course the fibreglass kits look better as the genuine ones do as i said in my original question. hence, me asking for a side on pic.

IF you had just bought the car as you said and wanted to sell it on ebay then FFS dont lie about it. a simple "im not sure mate, i think theyre genuine" would have done.

oh and i never asked HOW it was fitted did i? no. all i did was ask if it was genuine panels, my 2nd email to you was simply explaining why i was asking as obviously you didnt have a clue, and tbh it looks like you still dont.
