Default Missus' ebay account got hacked!

shes fuming!

she couldnt access her yahoo email since tuesday, and after several emails to yahoo from her hotmail account they have sent her a new password

turns out that her ebay account was hacked and 2 mobile phones were bought, one for £600, one for £178...

luckily she didnt have paypal set up as no doubt she would have been charged for them.

the cheeky cunts even changed all her email settings to that of their own.

on one ebay email tho, its given a new delivery address for the phones

2 Marshal House
East Street
London
SE17 2DN

so feel free to go pay the pikey cunts a visit and kill them

That address looks like it's a selection of low rise flats on Google earth... Doesn't look like the greatest of areas, but someone who lives in London may know more....

Silly question, but she didn't respond to a spoof email did she, by mistake?

The correct postcode is SE17 2DN. I'm getting worried about these ebay account hackings & it happening to me because my email account has an ebay account set up on it

i think they hacked her ebay first tho as she never uses it. and i think they only sent 2 emails from her account, but changed all the settings...

thanks for correcting the postcode

my hotmail got hacked once and then they got into my ebay. they tried to sell a load of laptops but ebay got on to it and blocked my account. when i realised that i couldnt get it to my account, i had a live webchat with an ebay advisor and she explained that they had blocked my account due to this and refunded any charges.

i then had to change all my passwords for ebay, paypal and all the forums i use. it took hotmail a good two weeks to confirm i was who i said i was before they would let me back into my emails to re-set all my passwords etc. not a pleasant experience!

2 Marshal House id say its a high rise tower block, tho the ground floor, probably some skag heads council flat, just collect the phones etc, then the hackers arive, take there goods, and pay the crack addickt with some drugs, job done!

get as much info as possible, and give it to the police, you never know others maybe in the same position, and they are building a case with all the info!

it's in walworth, so yeah elephant and castle way.

that one's actually not a BAD estate (well, for round that way at least ) and it's low-rise.

after some checking, the address is obviously a dodgy front pointless going round there, you'd need police surveilence on the place

who saw that programme about the american kid who was doing a scam on ebay.

Selling CB radio's, but advertising the top model, then send out a low spec radio.

One guy who brought was a trucker, after a number of attempts to get his money back he just sent a letter bomb to the seller and blew him uo

That's why I DO NOT USE freebies e-mail address like Hotmail or Yahoo Mail for ebay related!!

Anyone can bring up the password question from your account and guess it. Then once guessed correctly, they can change the password and you're fooked.

Dunno, never used them. Do they allow people to reset password by answering a simple question? If so, it's not safe.

In fact any e-mails ervice that allow anyone to reset a password by answering a question is not safe.
