Th minkers had twin anti roll bars and loads of mods I have always wanted one, but now I see them as a investment, I cannot see the money going down, but then again finding a buyer in 10 years time may be a little tricky

They're a bit of an acquired taste Johnny, and 10 years is a long time in motoring years...

it's a lot of money for the car, the one that got dodged from the old guy a few months back was on ebay for £4000,
normally minkers will fetch around the £6-7k mark but if it's the full K1 then it might be worth more

a £32k car when it was new it was quicker than most things of that day and age, supercar killing acceleration and 170 mph top end with the speical diffs fitted

lots of mods, different front hubs, tca's arb,s etc to name a few things but it was a whole sorted car not just a bolted on set of T2's

Shame they never did it when they were timed with Datron gear.....

One was put up against a Testarossa in Performance Car

Minker/Testarossa/BBR Sapph cos 315bhp 4x4

0-60 4.8/5.2/4.8
0-100 11.6/11.4/11.9

70-90
4th 3.7/4.7/3.2

The other proper timed test I've seen of one was 5.0 seconds dead - they said the same as Performance Car I recall - it was the effortless top gear performance that most impressed

i'd certainly never even consider paying more than 8k for one, even if i was minted.

dont think the owner will sell it at that price, not unless he finds someone really gullible
