low revs but a fair amount of load or high revs with minimal load
...on a reasonably cold engine, not stone cold nor at operating temp, and why?
Its just something that I was wondering about and couldnt answer lol

Revs kill engines much more than boost etc.
But labouring the shit out of them (ie climing a steep hill foot to the floor at low revs in 5th so its proper struggling) isnt nice to one either.

the oil isnt up to temp so it isn't protecting your engine yet - at least as you up the revs you increase the oil flow.
