my brother called me to say the AA said he had congealed oil which was a reason his car wont start.

said when he gets it going i will do an oil change. But if the oil is congealed would that knacker his engine?

It could be bad enough that it would block oil ways all over the engine...sounds like it'd need sump off an scraped out atleast

 

He's had it for 8 years. Told me today he's never changed the air filter, oil or ignition leads.

couldnt jump it, turns over once then does nothing. Reckon his starter motor has gone.

Also drove last week with the oil dipstick off so the whole engine is covered in oil.

then he wonders why i wont let him borrow my S1....Duh....

 

does it knock when he drives could be allot more than that, this happend to a mate & he needed new bottom end bairings..garrage said he was lucky thats all it needed
