For sale is my Mk3 escort Rolling shell

I had it on here recently without any wheels, however I have now added a set of s1 rs turbo wheels.

It did have a rs turbo 1.6 cvh lump in it and was making 194 bhp and was great fun.

However due to my new project I have removed the engine and the rs500 rim which it sat on wheels have been sold.

So here what you will get for your money

A 1982 mk3 xr3 escort rolling shell SOLID

Fitted with......

Set of S1 wheels with yokahama tyres

S1 fuel tank

S1 fuel pump

S1 Accumulator

S1 fuel lines all the way from tank to front

S1 loom not cut just removed form a s1

S2 Front calipers, disks and pads

good ridge lines all round

30mm lowering springs

XR3 gear box

std xr3 drive shafts

all glass

all lights

all xr3 interior

and probably other stuff I have forgot


The shell is in excellent condition, as stated SOLID no major rust in any of the normal places

the near side door has been bent open at the top when someone tried to nick it but been bent back

small dent on off side front wing where I dropped something on it

small bit off rust on the rear off side below the light, looks like its been repaired.

Im only asking for £500 thats cheap for what you will be getting

Also please note that the shell will need to be towed or trailered away, the car is stored not far from jun 3 off the m25

Your the geezer that used to own the black rs2000, with rondells, and morettes, this car lives round the corner to me now, still mint, blokes polishing it everytime i drive past!!

Man I miss that car, would say that was 1 of the best cars I have ever owned, had to sell to buy house, what good is a house cant drive it anywhere
