Default weird squeaking sound from front EsCos

Hello,

I have a '94 small turbo Escort Cosworth which has a annoying problem.
When driving it has a squeaking sound coming from up front.... it's kind of a ticking but instead of ticking its a squeaky sound.
it comes when accelerating and when pressing down the clutch...it almost dissapears....but then when breaking... it comes back. (??)
I know for a fact, that my exhaust-manifold gasket is fooked so i am hoping that this is the source of the problem, but never heard this kind of sound from a fooked gasket before.

Any ideas ? .... COULD it be just the faulty gasket ?

Found the problem .... however I don't know the word in English for this particular part.... (i am from Denmark)

In danish it's called a Cardan-link ... (prob not much help)

Anyway ... I gave it a good greasing and now the sound is gone, but I will have to remove it and give it some fresh bearings when I get the time.

Cheers
Thomas
