fit hydraulic clutch, will work fine, you must use a smaller flywheel though.

what ! sell a quaife type 9 for a cossie T5 , you are joking ? the T5 is a crap gearbox, the only reason people put up with its crap shift and crap ratios is for a tractor like size that makes it take biggish power.

The type 9 will fit behind the cossie lump, i have a N/A cossie(plus n20, 300bhp+) running through a type 9 with tran-x gear kit. Use a cossie flywheel/clutch and the type 9 bell houseing...it does fit. Then convert it to a hydraulic clutch. The only frigging about you need to do is the starter motor, i used a lucas M85, long nose with a smaller Rover metro 9 tooth pinion gear fitted, carefully elongate the starter bolt holes to move the starter away a few mm from the flywheel/ring gear and the jobs done.

if you use a cossie flywheel, turn it down to suit a pinto ring gear then the short lucas starter its the std RS2000 bellhousing a treat, no mods to anything !

That's the other option(mod the flywheel), i went for the starter route because it also changes the gear ratio of the starter/ring gear giving more torque for starting a high compression engine
