The type 9 will fit behind the cossie lump, i have a N/A cossie(plus n20, 300bhp+) running through a type 9 with tran-x gear kit. Use a cossie flywheel/clutch and the type 9 bell houseing...it does fit. Then convert it to a hydraulic clutch. The only frigging about you need to do is the starter motor, i used a lucas M85, long nose with a smaller Rover metro 9 tooth pinion gear fitted, carefully elongate the starter bolt holes to move the starter away a few mm from the flywheel/ring gear and the jobs done.
