Just changed my SFS boost hoses for new Samco ones (less joins...less chance of leakage!! ) and found some oil in the hose that goes from the air box to the turbo inlet.

I get no smoke what so ever on startup or when boosting so i'm not too worried, just wondered if this was normal or if I have problem, cos i cant think where it would come from other than the turbo?!

Think this is prob due to oil in breather system (although others will correct if i am wrong!!). Just clean it out.

 

its mostley the oil brether system as sed above if it was the turbo u wud be geting shit loads of blue smoke nothing major dude

Turbo is dead, fuk'd nackered, spraying oil inside everywhere. Lol! Everyone thinks the worst when it comes to oil in boost hoses.

As said mate, a thin coating of oil will normally be found in the hoses ad IC due to the oil breather system.
