Default Cossie / XR fuel pump / tank

Hi can any one tell me if a XR4X4 fuel pump and tank are the same as a saff cossie one and will the tank fit from the Xr as their hatchback's ????

I think the pump is different, just check part nos at fords.
My book lists fuel tanks as PETROL TANK WITH CARBS, PETROL TANK DIESEL, PETROL TANK INJECTION SOHC.
According to my book all HATCH,SALOON,ESTATE tanks the same.
This is from 03/87 - 12/89.
There is another listing for DOHC tanks from 01/90 onwards DOHC.
Hope this is of some help, best I could find.

cossie pump looks the same but isn't - I think that the XR4x4 pump will be the same as 2.8 capris and escort turbos

yeah cheers for you help everyone, any one in need of a near new cossie fuel tank then look's like i've found myself a spare one lol!!!
