once we test the sierra at brands the choice will be made on its times,

on paper the sierra should be good, its very light and has as much power as anyone else,

two wheel drive and 540 bhp should see it fast enough, and bristow spend loads on the handling,

 

its nice when you can see the car turn from this!

The merc doesnt run right (that was a joke martin)

 

its all down to times we know the merc has done last year 50.3 at brands and 1.13 sec at snetterton

so if the sierra can get near this which i hope it can then its game on.

 

Martin, if it does a 49 or 50 ... can I tell Rod ... pleeeaasssee ..



With the number of cars in Class A this year I think the Champion will be in A .... allthough that depends on who takes the fight to Rod, and you was damm close with the Merc

yes this is the graham goodes 1988 car

sister car to mike newmans black listerine car,

mikes newmans car was built in 88 and was white and red as it raced in the 1988 btcc and then it was painted it black for 1989 season,

graham goode built a new car for 1989 season black like mikes and my car was hired out to sean walker for the 1989 season repainted in FIA colours,

its now back in the original 1988 grahics which is how graham first built it.

 

is that the exact livery that it had back in 1988, sorry i was only 4 but have major respect to you for bringing it back

 

well apart from the listerine dragons

which i am getting made it is the same.

 

Nice collection buddy, the DTM mercedes is nice but those touring car RS500's you have are something else!!

 

What a nice rebuilt Martin. I always looked on PF for you posts. Now i made an account and i can say how impressive this all is.

Don't you have a lot of pictures from the old days when these cars raced in the BTCC?

Its since gone over to Australia and is now in its later Moss scheme as raced by Damon Hill.
