Default Turbo Zetec in a mk3

Ive got a mk3 escort running 1.9cvh, 285 cam, 40`s and 4-branch. thinking of changing it to a 1.8 zetec 130bhp, then turbo it later. What do i need to make it work, obviously loom and ecu, but do i need 2 fit a, 3i or turbo fuel tank and pump and fuel lines? And any other tips would help.

A normally aspirated Zetec doesn't take to well to turbos without dropping the compression so you either want to build it as a normally aspirated, OR a turbo motor unless you are prepared to do a build later on when you turbo it.

You will need an injection tank so either 3i or turbo and depending on what management you plan to use will depend on what fuel lines to use.

Yeah was maybe going to use a spacer plate at low boost, was going to fit the 1.8 130bhp zetec first, just wondered whats all involved in fitting it, like wiring loom, and fuel supply, water hoses, exhaust?

better off fitting a turbo tank for the swirl pot
depends what managment you wanna run ie mfi
efi or cossie or dta,omex
you could run fuel lines off a turbo but remeber you will have to bypass the accumelater (spelling)
you could go with a cozzie fuel pump
better off runing the 40s on the zetec lump should be fun

i think you might be able to run either dta or omex mega squirt, or gotech prob looking around a grand mark plus fitting and mapping best off ringing around a few companys for this
