i've got problems with my s2 rst at the mo so i want to send the head off to tested and skimmed etc therefore eliminating the head being at fault.
Any idea to wot level u have to strip the head down once the manifolds are off, removal of valves etc???

You dont have to remove anything from inside the head

 

so its a case of manifolds off and then it gets tested?
thats cool i thought i'd have to strip it right down to the bare head block or something.

except from safechav cus hes a fool

 

just manifolds, thermostate, and rocker arms.


but also best to get it cleaned well before, to stop the swarf sticking to oil.
