Default revs cut out to soon?

ive just recently been thinking my revs are cutting out way to early cutting out between 5 and 5n a half thousand ive been told in my dizzy theres a "spark cut out" or somthing i was wondering is there any way to get around this? as the car seem to still be pulling and gaining quite well so i assume the rev limiter is around 6.5 k? how can i get the car to have them extra few revs?

A standard car will cut at about 6200, which is an ignition cut. The fuel cuts later, this is normal.

The same symptoms of early rev-limiter hitting is often seen with certain aftermarket cams/springs.
