Wouldn't be that hard to get the basic functions working, but things like the oil pressure gauge and oil level could be hard to get working.

And personally, if it wasn't all working, i myself would never be happy with it

 

Theres a guy on retrorides who has done this to his mk3 escort, his username is Street (used to be on here often in the past)



THe only problem was he didnt have space to use the warning lights and had a seperate pod for them, but then he wanted to keep part of the original dash facia

the plugs on the ford dash i have gone left to right when looking at the back of the clocks i did not go by the numbers on the clocks
the pin out on the ford side will be different on the different models these are for the clocks out of a h reg xr3i efi but you can easy find out what ones you need by folling the tracks from the plugs to the gauges or light you need

There's also a blue escort estate on ebay with one fitted. Might be worth asking him for any advice.
