Was just wondering if anyone has had this problem with there s2!!!
The car starts ok when its cold but after about 10 mins of driving it cuts out when u stop or slow down then wont start untill its cold again!!
The engine is turning over but just wont fire up!!!

HELP PLEASE!!!

 

Something breaking down when warm, possibly hall sensor in dizzy or maybe fuel relay.

 

Fuel relay must b ok coz the pump primes up????

 

i had a similar problem in april last year. Started and drove fine, when i slowed for a junction it cut out.
Sometimes it would start but i would have to keep the revs up or it would stall.

turned out to be the Fuel Pressure Regulator!!! try it, usually get onne on ebay for £4 or £40 rs breakers.

never had a problem after that. took 10 mins to swap over!!!

 

i had the same sort of problem but mine didnt cut out just if i switched it off and tried to start it when it was hot it would sometimes not start and that turned out to be the fuel relay
