Just had a text on my phone saying: We currently have a mesage awaiting your collection. To collect your message just call 0871 872 3818

Is this a scam anyone knows about?

bound to be dodgy , ring your service provider and get them to block the number as well

I would expect a few text's after making a suggestion like that if I was you

 

if you ring it, they charge you Ł15 for every min you are on the phone and they put you on hold for 20 mins while they check your details, dont ring any numbers you dont know, if they really need to spoke to you they ring you back :

 

Of course its a scam, why the hell would you have a message on some random distant answering machine that you have never setup in the first place?
