can i still get a set of new rear callipers for a 2wd saph from ford?

at around £250 you are much better off getting a reconned item from one of the refurbishers for around £50

they are the same as any found on the sierra/granada so it's not as if they are rear, if you need to get one and need something to swap it with, go down the scrapyard and unbolt one for a tenner and send it in

thanks mate...i found some hi-spec ones...so i might go for them bur im not sure about the service and time as iv got a show to go to on the 4th and i need the callipers by the 2nd

are they proper calipers built by hi spec or are they the one that they've used for rear disc conversions?
i think they are from a cavalier or that sort of thing

no mate they are proper sierra callipers...which has the hand brake capability aswel

i know they were using another caliper about 18 months ago

if it's a fair price then go for it, but you may need to go there and collect it

beter to speak to mike rainbird about this, apparently he's superquick from all the good things that people say about him

swap for 4x4 much better and most 2wd owers have done a recon 4x4 pair is around £150 if you look will need carriers and new discs as well

Its what im going to do on mine

I have had the calipers over a year now, just not done it
