Converting a music CD into MP3
media player, itunes...whatever will do it.
just make sure you change the settings in your chosen program to rip to MP3, at least 256kbps, and make sure it doesnt rip it with copy protection (tick box usually)
bang the cd in, on xp it'll ask you what you want to do with it, show songs in media player, then just click on "rip music"

CD in the computer, rip the CD on windows media player, will automatically go onto your computer library, connect the usb port to your mp3 and upload the music

Easy, one stop music ripping programme. It's quick and easy to use, finds the track info for you, and has a list of loads of filetypes and bit rates to rip to. Just select MP3 and a bit rate of 320kbps and you'll be fine. Then just select the location you want to rip to (ie, C/My Documents/My Music, etc etc) and hit the RIP button - off it goes and it'll be done in a few mins
