hi people, i have got a mk3 escort.with a 1.3 cvh with a 1.6 gearbox carburettor at the moment.

iam going to do a conversion soon....
and need some info, iam going to get a 1.8 zetec and iam going to buy some throttle bodies, would i be able to bolt my 1.6 cvh gearbox up to a 1.8 zetec engine? what flywheel and clutch do i need? do i need to buy some sort of fuel pump for the tb's? what ecu and loom can i use? any info appreciated regards ashley

 

your 1800 clutch & flywheel will work with a cvh box no bother

 

you'll also need a high pressure fuel pmp to run the injectors in teh TBs and a fuel tank with a return on it.

as for the ECU, I'd suggest having a word with whoever you will be getting to map it and see what they recommend.
