Default s2 Engine Rebuild

Hi,

Just finished rebuilding the engine for my S2 project.

Just a couple of Q's on whats missing from the engine, apart from cambelt tensioner and oil pressure switch.

On the back of the block (inlet side) theres 4 threaed holes in the block, what screws into there? On the bottom if the inlet manifold theres a threaded hole, What screws in there?
And again on the inlet side theres a 2 bolt flange on the head that needs something bolted to it, any ideas?
Theres also a couple of threaded holes on the block on the exhaust side. Anything go in them?

I've hosted a few pics, Did'nt want to post them here as they are huge. Also a pic of the car on 17's albeit with no engine or front bumper yet.

on the bottom of the inlet manifold - could be the auxillary air device.

on the inlet side of the head. the 2 bolt flange usually has a blanking plate with a gasket. im not 100% but i think its for carb'd models with a mechanical fuel pump.

Yes, the 2-bolt flange on the back of the head is used for cars with a mechanical fuel pump, as said above. There should be a blanking plate to go on there.

The port in the Inlet should have an adaptor in it to take the hose from the Auxillary Air Valve (I have one of these with the pipework if you don't have one).

The 2 holes under the Vernier Pulley are for the Cam-belt cover.

On the front of the engine, nothing goes in either of the 2 holes on the block, but the one up by the exhaust ports is for water temp sender for the gauge.

Is that everything?

Thanks for that, I think that clears everything up.

As mentioned in earlier posts I unfortuantly did not strip the engine down, I'll have a dig around the boxes in the garage for the said Items. I cant remember seeing a blanking place and i might have the auxillary device (what ever it looks like) but not sure on the adaptor.

Edited to add, I've found the auxilarry air adaptor on a spare inlet manifold I had. Why didnt I check there first
