Yes, the 2-bolt flange on the back of the head is used for cars with a mechanical fuel pump, as said above. There should be a blanking plate to go on there.
The port in the Inlet should have an adaptor in it to take the hose from the Auxillary Air Valve (I have one of these with the pipework if you don't have one).
The 2 holes under the Vernier Pulley are for the Cam-belt cover.
On the front of the engine, nothing goes in either of the 2 holes on the block, but the one up by the exhaust ports is for water temp sender for the gauge.
