hope somebody can help stiripped my bottom end after it started smoking to find big end bearing's are scored and now ive found the oil pump internals are also badly scored any ideas how this has happened so i can avoid it again before she's back on the road ...

 

get crank checked, fit new shells and oil pump and it should be ok.

 

oil starvation at some time IS the only way!

 

the thing that's pissed me off is that the bottom end was only rebuilt 12 months ago the crank was re-ground n polished new oil pump and all new shells n gasgets, the garage that carried out the work has since gone bust so no chance off having strong words with them..

 

Find the owner of the garage and kick him in the balls
