what are the limits on a standerd turbo, bhp wise
as in bhp wise, i ask as i have just brought a brand new standerd turbo as mine was wanked. i diddnt have much choice really as im sqint and the only way was to get one was on credit from my work, and as my work dont have accounts will burton power etc it had to be a standerd. just wondering what sort of power can be made pressuming other work has been done to the engine until your gun blow the turbo

IMO, the standard turbo cannot go far beyond 200bhp, if atall. Whatever boost you run it at.
Not warming it up or cooling it down will kill it, but that's not what was being asked.

he told me i needed to shell out for a hybrid turbo next, oh joy lol
the maximum that a standard t3 can blow is 16-17 psi if you want it to last and that is on the limit, i don't know how the fuck pf nick was runnin his at 19 psi all that time, tbh i dont think that was a standard t3
