I got a few problems on my RST after i finaly got my engine fitted. the engine is fine it turns over sweet.
just it wont fire. i think its due to lack of fuel. as its been stood for a good year an a half with just under quater of tank. So im going to put some in to see if that works.
the other problems are.
My fuel computer is now reading 465 miles to go before empty, which i know is defo not right. Any idea what that could be??
and i have lost all my dial lights. The back light lights work, but lights like ingition oil light etc not working. i know they where before the engine came out.
so if you can help i would be greatful

Firstly you need to determine whether your missing fuelling and/or spark before you can begin diagnosing the fault!
Fuel computer - they are just shit! Simple answer on that one
And as for your warning lights, you've probably popped a fuse, You'll probably find things like the fag lighter, stereo and roof clock etc also don't work

i will check for spark, got a tester for that. im sure its lack of fuel tho.
on the fuel computer, is there a rest button or something??
and warning lights, i think its possibly a fuse, will have a look, my interior light and clock work tho, but i think there be on a different circuit.

Just pull the king lead off and see if it sparks to the shell when you crank the engine.
The computer will sort itself out, because its lost its memory its just giving a reading based on the fuel quantity, as soon as you get the car driving it will be more accurate. They seriously are pants anyway mate, always wrong!
