but I live just on the outskirts of west London nowadays, nice n quiet and less hussle n bussle, as I'm getting older I do feel to move out further but don't wanna be around too many carrot crunchers

Kent mate, as your close to citys, france crossing for road trips abroud and of course the ring, and loads of country roads. I live in a village where you see one or two ploce patrol cars a year 
There are loads of rich adults here which makes overtaking in their 30k merc or BMW much more satisfying

essex, is ok, used to be great the nightlife, then one by one the decent clubs closed, went, turned to shit, etc allong with the bars .

Hard to comment having only lived in Devon, however the good points of devon I suppose are sea on one side, so close to beaches and access to watersports also dartmoor national park on the otherside which is a great place, some excellent roads wonderfull views etc, bad point is its so far to travel to get to any of the shows and track days and most of the tuners.

i Love where i live i gotta say.
Im 30 mins drive from both Cardiff and Bristol. Easy links to M'way only 1:30min drive from brum and easy 2hr drive to London taking it easy.
As can say i near to awsome places to have a night out etc. But i also have in the other direction the best driving roads/scenery in the country imo. Everything you could want.... I do love where i live. Just i want to go and see loads of other places around the world too
If i had loads of ŁŁ i would buy a nice apartment in middle of City like London or any where around world but i would always have house here, and be called home etc.

Close enough to go out to Liverpool on a night out but you dont get theiving scousers on your doorstep (or anywere else for that matter)
Close enough to get to the M58, M6 , M62 and M57
Close enough to get to Wigan on a night out but no pie eaters everywere
Close enough to get to Manchester but no Mancs everywere
Close enough to get to Preston but no offshore companions everywere
Close enough to get to Southport but no smackheads everywere
Loads of good B Roads to go "Countryside rallying" down
Loads of good secluded spots to take the Mrs for some Al Fresco shagging, especially Cleives Hills
And also handy for St. Helens, Warrington, Chester and Blackburn / Bolton.
So in a nutshell Lancashire rocks
