Default 3 Door stage 3 conversion

Hi all

Dropping my 3 door off for a stage 3 conversion tom morning.

Currently running stage 2 which feels fast-ish

I'm pretty new to the cossie scene & although its fast, does feel a little harsh toward the top of the rev band.....is this normal?

Anyway can anyone tell me what the conversion involves other than a chip & injectors, or does it depend on whos doing it?

Also what sort of notable difference can be felt after stage 3

Any input appreciated

Well whats needed for a basice stage 3 mate is 3 bar map sensor, green injectors , and a stage 3 chip , again would advise on a rs500 cooler and personally an uprated pump

Should feel a nice difference compared to your stage 2

What is your set up at the moment ? turbo ? and what boost are you running ?

If engines healthy then it should handle it okk

hi
on my three door im running a t34, rs500 cooler, gpa fuel pump, -34 actuator ,greens, im not sure what the chip is...running 28psi..365bhp.........
compared to my stage two sapphire it is a lot more aggresive ..when the boost comes on it fookin comes on(seems to be all at once) you cant floor it in the wet .and it pulls like a train to the limiter....but it all depends on the chip they are all mapped different and have different characaristics..
but to sum it up you will certainly notice the difference...

stg 1 is generally boost increase to 1 bar on std parts

stg 2 is usually boost increase to about 1.5 bar on t3 turbo, with 3bar MAP sensor and dark green 803 injectors

stg 3 is usually bigger turbo with same uprated MAP and injectors and with improved intercooling to match

The boys down at ABC motorsport are doing the conversion today, should get it back tomoz,

found out the car was only running a stage 1 before with a 360 bearing, so should be a big difference

conversion includes all of the above bar the intercooler & pump.

Any ideas on decent intercoolers & pumps, or are they pretty good across the range??

Cheers for the info fellas

Well pro alloy is a favourite with most people for your cooler and an 044 pump is your best bet on the pump front
