i havent got the room in my garage to be able to take the rest out i already have the head of so i can put the bk in the top.
does anybody know if i can just drop the crossmember or has it gotta come off??

thanks mate so if i undo the 4 bolts i will be able to drop it enough to remove the sump???
shall i support the crossmember with a jack as the steerin rack is atached to it???

yes undu the 4 bolts ,unclip the brake pipes which are attached too the cross member
and also undu the steering colum were it joins too the sterring rack then it will give you enough room
no need too support the crossmember i dident
