depends what you looking for the rs2000 is a good car ive got a mk6 mexico as well as the turbo the only prob with the rs200 is the cost to mod it if you want to mod one with a small budget stick to the 2ltr youl get more bhp per pounds but if you get a four whell drive one thats a special one thats the one id go for if i was getting one lol

First of all if you would buy a RS2000, buy a MK5
It's true that tuning a N/A engine costs a lot of money, but if it's a daily drive the RS2k is a very reliable and good driveable everyday car, they are VERY underrated cars. If you want more info look on: www.RS2000-16v.com

oh, btw, you can swap do the 2.3 conversion on low budget...

I use a mk6 RS2000 as everyday car, I had a fiesta turbo before, the escort is a far better everyday car is very reliable and underated as it don't stand out, the seats are very good the engine pulls well about the same on petrol as the fiesta, I love turbo cars but for everyday the escort is superb I would recommend one, but at the end of the day it depends what you want.

For an everyday car there are perfect..Ive owned mk5s and a mk6 before and all are great for everyday..I did use my old 225bhp jamsport tuned s2 for everyday use and it was prob the worst thing ive ever done..No powersteering shit fuel bills etc..Hence why it was fucked off to buy the mk5 rs below.

The rs2k will give ya 25mpg town use and alot higher on motorways..
Tuning wise if you know what your doing you can get about 175bhp like mine which cost me less than 400 notes

Id say go for it..Much faster than a 2.0L zetec

I had s2 before my 2k. The 2k is far more better for everyday use, plus like mentioned above...Never misses a beat.
