Default INDUCTION KITS

I have a pipercross air filter on my car but ive noticed alot of ppl who own rs2000's just leave the std air box on drill it and put a k&n pannel filter into it.

why is my question????

hi dan a friend of mine said to do that as mines got a k&n n has a flat spot bowt 4500revs he said either a fse valve oh try the filter but i dont have it

you said you got your to 175 and cost you fourhundred quid and a modded throttle body wot have you done to it if you dnt mind me asking

not at all chink but i think i might put my std air box back on cus it has a k&n pannel filter in it if i remember rightly n see how it runs then cus i have a flat spot at about 4500rpm the throttle body has just been polished n skimmed down a bit for better air flow got my dad to do it cus hes good at things like that

cheers matey is it chipped at all???

do people recomend these boost valves??

need to get mi hydralic lifters done first might of got sum sorted tho

no worries them fse boost valves are good when set up correctly i contantly had to drive my car then tweak about with it till i was gettin the right amount of fuel through after a week it was running pritty much bang on not touched it since. also yeh mine has a superchip moduel attached to the ecu i think its a fast road chip. not sure tho.

ive got to get my lifters sorted too

i might b able to sort you the lifters
ive bin getting quoted around the 300 mark

a friend own a car shop and hes sourced me sum around ten pound each
apparntly theres too different type tho so need to take rocker cover off n check

another question wot oil do you recomend im using miller 10/40 the car has done 114thou
could it be the wrong oil causing it to tap cause it comes and goes if i drive steady which is rare it dunt tap if i boot it it does any ideas

nice one mate you will av to let me know about those lifters mine just make a noise when its cold for about 2mins then goes quite as for the oil i use 10/40 because of the millage mines done 105k so a thinker oil is better ive found. if you lifters r making a noise while ur driving im thinkin they r ready for a change

STD airbox with a cold air feed ...Dont drill loads of holes willy nilly on the bottom as this will suck in hot air and be a waste of time.. drill one large hole and fit a cold air pipe to it and keep the std ford cold air feed that fits on the left hand side and goes through to slam pannel ...Job done... Dont bother with cones (unless your caining the ass off it on a track ...Its been proven for years on theses cars..

And fit one of my throttle bodys your be looking at a gain

to late i drilled loads of holes in it last night i mite as well just keep my cone one on now then aint i? how much are your throttle boddies then mate what have you done different to urs?
