Hi all, i am currently running about 270-280 bhp out of my 2wd G reg saff, the car has done 96000 miles but is runnung very well its had the head skimmed before i had it and various bits of engine work but never a full re-build im toying with the idea of maybe 300-330 bhp does anyone think this is a wise idea or am i going to be over straining the engine and turbo???

 

Why not ? Go for it , get it set up and dont run stupid boost and i can see why it wont be as reliable

Biger intercooler is a must for stage 3 i think

Again if its just the standard turbo it could be strssing it a bit on the turbo side of things , again not sure the limits on these units mate

What spec you going for , changing the turbo ?

 

Mine had done 100k its not the miles its how its looked after

most engines die due to lack of oil and poorly set up= DET and melted pistons
