Just wondering...............

I have some money.....Not much but a bit.............In a pension scheme with HSBC bank..

And tbh i dont think pensions are worth a wank so want to put the money elsewhere.

Can you release it early????

I don't think you can mate, a pension is for life, not just for Christmas.

Worth checking with them but I think all you can do is freeze it so you don't pay any more in but you still have to wait til retirement, or transfer it's value into say a company scheme. I don't think you can draw on it.

i have about 12k sitting there i put the pension on "holiday" as they called it


dont think its worth starting up again as tiff says, would rather put else where also


like lottery tickets for instance

Wish I could win the lottery, I'm back at work on Tuesday and just the thought of it now is pissing me off.

These bank pensions are a ripoff if you have a company scheme, they NEVER pay as much. I stopped one I had with TSB some years ago because it was worth bog all.
