Cam Cover Cleaning
Wel just recently re-furbd my cam cover , and i used a really fine type of sand paper to buff up the cosworth surround bit got it of b+q actually on cover and came up a treat !!!
Again i usually just use wd 40 or simalar on mine to do the painted parts , some elbow grease makes all the difference

do you have to take the cover off or can you leave it on? do you no what sand paper it was mate??
p.s what tools do you need to take the cam cover off??

Just allen key mate to take of the bolts . again i had mine off to do it , b+q do like packs with different grades mate , say the higher number on reverse of paper being thinner , maybe a 250 or 260 or there abouts .
Obviously you will prob need to change gasket if you do so .
Its a doddle and loks great when done . oh and sanding block helps
