Default Sky Broadband any good?

Been with Pipex for 2yrs now and wanna change as i hardly ever use the net and am paying 24 quid a month for 2mb unlimited.

I know you can get better deals now and was looking at sky as their unlimited pacakge is only 10 quid a month. Im not that bothered about download speeds as rarely download large files anymore altho the option too is always a good idea.

Your opinions please.

Why's that? I'm thinking of changing to Sky from BT at the moment, got my Migration code today in fact but don't really want to change if they are going to mess about.

I've just got it and it's fantastic, It's 10MB and it's very quick and in the 3 weeks i've had it it's not gone off once.

Communications 4 megabits per second
Storage 487.6 kilobytes per second
1MB file download 2.1 seconds
Subjective rating Awesome

I've had 1 issue with a password but that was my own fault and not a fault of sky. Web pages load as you click them and are more or less instantly there. And Before i downloaded the latest 5th gear episose at 350MB in about 4 minutes. And it downloads at about 450k Average and on popular files can go upto 900k.

I've had it for nearly 4months now and i've never had a problem. I have the free package as i couldn't go any higher in my area (for now) and i can't fault it at all. Not once has it been down.

Cheers,
Matt.

I'm with them....and I should have stayed with BT. Regularly have connection problems and it took them nearly a month to supply me with a password that actually worked so I could access my emails.

As above - I'd stay with who you're with. May be more each month but if it's reliable then it's money well spent.
