Default A good Brake Set-up for a Sapphire with standard 15"

Hello chaps.
I've recently trashed my pads at a trackday here in New Zealand and I'm looking to either just replace the pads or to get new disks, calipers etc.
One thing though as I want to maintain the original exterior of the car I'm keeping the standard 15" rims.
I know in an ideal world I'd get some 17"s and a set of big AP disks etc but I can't.
So can any of you helpfull chaps reccomend a good setup for my car. Disks, Pads, etc etc.

Cheers,

Ollie.

Tarox always do a good package deal mate, they are a little more expensive but they are fanastic brakes, stops my 330/350 bhp no problem

Cheers chaps
I currently run Ferrodo DS2500 Pads on my Sapphire so I guess that's good news and I've got a good set of 6 Stainless Brake hoses.
New Disks sound like a go
Are there any good aftermarket calipers that will fit behind my standard rims, or am I limited to Pads and disks only?.

you could try hi spec for calipers

they do a thin version to fit behind the esc cos wheel which could also fit your saph

just be carefull with hi spec calipers though lol

What's the catch with hi spec? So far i haven't heard any bad news about those?

@Snow
So you trashed ur 2500s? maybe a try for 3000s? They need come a bit on temperature, but after a few laps they provide a really nice constant bite troughout. (they're not roadlegal)
As for the standard 4pot calipers, they're pretty good really.
But they weigh alot compared the alloy aftermarket items.
And if you're going for the biggest discs possible, the lug mounts won't do much favour.
Biggest discs is often not really nessecary,(besides the looks ofcourse ) having proper ducting to the discs/and or calipers, makes a really big difference in the stopping power throughout a trackday session (and longlivity of the discs/pads/fluid)

Don't think there is anything wrong with them,he's just saying use the correct cals as some prob don't fit behind std wheels...

I have only ever heard good things about them
