My car doesnt wont go under 0.5 boost, I try to shortened wastegate arm to maximum but nothing.

How can I check if my actuator work?

I dont understand you but ok... Wastegate arm is short to max, but boost is under 0.5 (about 0.45 )

maybe actuator need replacing?

how to test actuator

 

take the actuator off and see if u can pull the rod by hand and if u can with no preasure that means ur actuators fuked had the same problem the rod shud be hard to pull out and stiff

 

I can pull out wastegate arm maybe 1.5 centimeters out, this mean it is gone?

no amal valve is fine acctuator wil wear out over the time so if u can get a bargin on a uprate -31 actuator grab it

 

how much cost -31 and why -31 , why not serial?

end when I buying , must I say Give me actuator -31 (or serial) for escort rs turbo or for garret T3 ??

 

many people ive seen on pf get em and there cheap on ebay ive seen em go for almost 20 quid as it dont wear as quick as the standerd ones and u can run more boost

The standard actuator will not give more than 0.5bar without an amal valve. To test if the amal valve is working - unplug it. If your boost does not go DOWN, then it isn't working. Your actuator could be fine.

 

thanks. but I today "test" actuator, i blocked hose from turbo and car going good. I think actuator leaking air much.

and how will I unpluged amal? just push out power? and try get boost, if will be same thing with power on amal, means it is fault?

take the wire off the amal valve and see if ur geting boost if u do then its ayt if ur boost starts going down that means it will need to be replaced
