can s1 managment run a series two engine???

ive got the chance of a rotten series two with all running gear in good order.i can fit engine no problem to the series one.prob sell better running.will the series one management plug in to the series two engine.would be a bit of a pain fittin the series two loom??cheers guys

Its the same isnt it?? Just that an S1 ECU doesn't have a knock sensor. So is often the preffered ECU to use.

I run a S2 engine with knock sensor in my S1, altho the knock sensor doesnt get used with S1 ECU/loom but just thot i'd mention it anyway!


no pointfitting the S2 loom, and yes would be a pain!

There isnt a lot of difference in the two. Toi run this combination you can just smash the engine in and it will be fine!

Not quite as simple the other way round but its still easy

You may aswell put your series 1 manifold etc on to make it look the part
