whats wrong
when i start my car from cold i have to keep the revs at 1500-2000 for the car to tick over after its warm its ok any ideas

good chance its the thermo time switch mate just under the inlet manifold or bad connection to it.

No......will be nothing to do with that and i can GUARANTEE that.
Chances are you have an air leak. Brake servo would be a prime suspect.

Disconnect the brake servo, block the hole off and see if it idles when cold.
P.S for fuck sake dont try and drive it

checked it out the plug that goes into the crossover pipe had broken cables so i replaced them and the screw that on the thottle body next to the choke fell out today so i suspect its lose so i put it back in and it seems to be running fine anyone no what the screw is

Does the screw face down towards the ground and have a spring on it?

that screw will adjust the idle speed up and down, if it fell out, then it is adjusted right out and shouldn't tick over, so you need to put it back in and adjust the idle speed correctly when the car is up to full running temperature.

cheers thats what i thought that what it was cause it was idleing like a shit heap like the fiesat by the way
