I was thinking a GT35. With ball bearings it'll spool early and you can adjust the boost to what you need it and have room for more later. But I'm not a pro.

It's looking like a Garrett GT30 really? works out at about Ł720 from an american site...how much is shipping from USA to here?

why not just stick with a proven cheap turbo then
only other thing i can think of is a MD240R or somthing like that

MD240R is more expensive than GT30 surely????

I was meaning if you are doing nothing else to the car, just stick with a T34, nox expensive if you blow one up
I know very little about the MD240R units, or how they perform , just I remember people saying they were decent enough

Agreed, I'd say a T34 with 0.55 housing would be your best option.
Why look for something different when the right answer is just under your nose

Gus your driving style will comfortably exceed the limits of whatever turbocharger is fitted anyway so you may as well fit a T2 Pal.. nice n cheap to fix
