The second pic I sent was someone else's car thats what I am aiming for the first set of pics are my engine and the air filter heat sheild is one I made up

 

ah right ok! I have a pipercross filter on mine but want to get rid of it and go back to the standard airbox with K&N panel, then drill a hole in the bottom and have a feed going to it! but no one seems to have an old air box for my GTI

Other than that just have the stainless plug cover, nearly got a chrome rocker cover but money ran out!

 

My old air box got thrown out by accident which was a shame as for money running out I know what you mean

will do, gonna take some time to fit it once i get it, im debating spraying / painting box silver and making a Ford template and spraying the logo on top, will be like a home made viper kit!! if i ever find a sodding box... Ford want Ł108!!
