Default Changing valve guides

Firstly apologies for all the questions over the last few day, Im new to the rs turbo scene and I am currently rebuilding one, well trying too anyway. I'll post some pics of the progress when I get a chance to see some daylight.

On to the question, theres a little bit of play in my current guides and supplied with the car was 8 brand new guides. Whats the best method of removal and refitting, I have a press at work so thats no problem but dont want to damage the new guides or the head.

Any tips?

Craig

Classic way is to get them out with a drift, and press them in. Getting them out is the hard bit, depending just how well they are in! I persoannly give them to a local engine shop, who doi it for pennies and make a perfect job. I can't be arsed with the agro!
