Looks identical to a radtec! Those bolt on brackets are a nice idea too!

That's what i was thinking as the fixed one's are a pain in the ass as you always end up having to bend them to get the right position and then they end up snapping

 

Don't be blinkered by some new fangled brackets though

I doubt its going to be as good at doing its job as a GRS

 

Graham must be able to do something like this on his intercoolers would be alot easyer to fit then imo thats the only thing that lets the GRS one's down

Im sure he will want people to be 100% happy with his products if they aren't at the moment!

 

i had no problems with the grs evo 5 boltted it straight on moved the rad and the alternator back a little job done

 

The main problem I can see with that is the fan's on the front

 

looks good value! But as Dan, be better to have fans on the back.Sure it could be done easy enough.

 

i understand u comparing it to te grs but isn't that a bit unfair considering its approx Ł200 cheaper- i bet it out-performs the half the size ones that are around the same price- the interwarmers as u call um

 

no reason why the GRS should be better. It's a v basic design

 

it's not really to do with the design, its more the quality of the core!

 

chunt69 no one's saying they are "better" or "worse" than the GRS ones it's all down to the act temp's they run this one may be a bit cheaper than the GRS one's but then it might be shit at keeping the act temp's down. Ive sent autospecialists an email asking what temp's they were seeing with this one See what they say and ill let you all know

should be interesting to see the temp results for sure

 

i've actually seen these in reality, they are identical to the radtek and look good quality, i nearly bought one from ford fair but they no way near bigger than a GRS!! are very cheap if they do the job properly..

 

Just had an email from autospecialists this is what it said:

When the RS turbo was dyno tested they said there was a drop in act temp they didn't give us the figures just the bhp before and after

So in other word's they aint got a clue what the act temp's was i would have thought that would have been the point of having it tested to see what temp's it run

 

 

Look at the pic again and it has radtec stamped in the top so it one of theres

 

How can you see that all i can make out is the last three letters TEC

 

looks more like it says AIR TEC than radtech
funyy how if they've tested it they dont have the act figures

 

Exactly i would of said that would be a major selling point but they were obviously more interested in BHP
