How can I check to make sure its working as it should be? It does click when opening the throttle slightly but think this is the cause of my holding back.

Cheers
Dave

Sorry yes it's MFi at the minute. I don't want to take the car off the road as yet as it's a bit cold for the bike.

Cheers

The MFI TPS is 2 switches basically.

One to tell the ECU idle (closed throttle) and one to tell it full throttle.

Leave it on the car, and you should have continuity between the centre pin, and one of the outer ones.

Then, hold it at full throttle, and you should see continuity between the centre pin and the OTHER outer pin in the plug.

Check for eratic readings and so on, i had one that had broken its solder joints inside and was very intermittent!

Depends. It won't richen it up enought to help with hesitation.

I set mine so it is rich enought at part throttle too.

I had a problem with intermittent hesitation at full load and turns out mine was knackered.

Cured the problem for me!
