whats that cookies thing
you have to do???
My computer updated its explorer edition by itself the other evening
and now when I click a link only on passionford it goes to a "problem with connection" page and I have to refresh it to display the page and it doing my nut in 
and its still connected
help please before I go mad

Its not actually logging me out though - its saying theres an error in connection and when I refresh - the page comes up and I'm still logged in but I loose the message i've written.
its only started happening since its updated the software
is there a way of downgrading back to my original browser edition because it didn't used to do it.

i was locked out about 8 months ago and have just managed to get back in this week,wouldnt accept my password even when i got a new one from the forgot my password link.couldnt re-register with a new name either as it said my ip add was already logged to a user.all the talk of clearing corupt cookies falls on deaf ears as im not that clued up with my pc and it might as well be talking in a foreign language.got it sorted this week though so im back at last

I'm not locked out though -
its not asking for passwords
its just asking me to reconnect when I try to look at new posts, but the little green lights are on. If I refresh the topic displays
I remember seeing posts about the problems I'm having but the search function and me don't get on it comes up with 9 pages of possible posts to look through. And I've gotta refresh more or less on each page to get them to display.
Its not a problem with the site - its on my computer with this fooking update that happened the other day.
and the new program is a bastard to use too. 
I'm gonna look at deleting this program and re downloading the old software and reinstall it if it will let me, and next time it asks or starts to update I'm gonna switch it off
