Default ST24 cutting out problem....................

As title, when you pull up in traffic, junctions etc... recently the revs have started to dip sometimes to the point of cutting out. It runs faultlesses other than that and sometimes goes days without doing it and then suddenly does it 5 or 6 times in one journey. I dont think its weather/damp related as its done it in all conditions.

Any ideas??

Find out if it only happens when the rear lights are being used, i.e. braking. If so it's an earthing prob that I had with my old Escort. One of the earth wires wasn't bolted to the body near the driver's side rear cluster.

Cheers lads.

I gave the ISCV a good clean today and thought I'd cracked it but after 20 mins of trouble free driving I got stuck in traffic and it did it again.

Is there any way of testing the ISCV to see if its fooked or not?? Anyone know how much a new one is?

Or what else could it be?? Could heat be a factor when stuck in traffic? (water temp normal)
