Meant to ask as well, why would it have burnt a valve?

Im guessing slightly stuck open and constantly having hot exhaust gases on both faces?

probably not seating properly (they disperse a lot of heat through the valve seat) so it got very hot!!

Any dents in top of piston
May have just kissed the piston if overrevved and got a bit of a kink in it
Put it in a drill and give it a spin should tell u
I would deffo change all the exhaust valves though
If a head falls off it will destroy the engine and turbo...

No dents in top of piston, just think 140k of being a cossie exhaust valve may have been to much for it

Will spin it just to see though.

as long as no bits come off .. . . No.

Just get valve cut outs machined

when you say get the cutouts machined what do you mean? My pistons are like yours and dont have cutouts, just the stepped bit. Do you mean smooth them off to make sure there are no high spots which will result in hotspots?
