Default a little help please...

I fitted some new faces on my clocks as the lighting was shit on my old ones.. all i done was remove the plugs at the back and the speedo cable but since putting it back together it has gone bandy!!

the speedo doesn't really work and the rev counter don't work either i am guessing the speedo is because the little bit in the middle of the cable is either too far in or too far out so no big deal it's just what could be wrong with the rev counter... possibly the temp gauge too but not really gotten it hot enough to test yet... any help please

Cheers
Martin

Obviously you have removed the needles to fit them..........and that is your problem.

You've either refitted them incorrectly or damaged the stepper motors.

Trial & error im afraid

Exactly the same here. I have plasma dials. They look wicked, but the pain of having no rev counter is starting to really annoy me now.

there is a gud way of takeing the needles off with out its screwing up ive done it b4 by using a trim remover as its a bent tip with a cut in the middle it lifts the needles of with out destroying the stepper motors or bending the needles
