Default Ooooops BSW shonky workmanship strikes again.....

Puttin a few more miles on it this mornin, runnin ok then heard a rattle then before I even get chance to pull over I hear a clunk and the car dies.

Get out and pick up a sheared bolt and a tensioner. open the bonnet and its one of the middle tensioners where the bolts sheared completely off and the cambelt now nice and loose!

How many valves do ya recon I've done!?

Me-thinks this cars days are numbered.

Its fookin laughable really the shit I have with this heap!

Nearly got a whole half hours use out of this time.

I don't think you will ever have any confidence in the car knowing about the piss poor quality of workmanship that has gone into the car IMO.

Please do excuse my ignorance but why is a sheared bolt his fault?

I do not know of any history you might have with mark either and do not know him,

Mike

If only I knew where the c.unt is.

Gotta decide if I can be arsed to carry on with it, your right Rudey/Daz I've no confidende in it at all, constantly listening for noises etc... The enjoyment went a long time ago.

I parted with a lot of wedge for the work/bodges done by Mark and its hard to justify blowin anymore when I know theres gonna be more probs to come. I asked for everythin to be uprated replaced etc....

One option is to just get a standard 2.0l from a scrappy and lob that in, at least I'll be able to drive it for a bit then.

Jock, too many other things have gone wrong with everything he's done. I'll blame the twat for everything that happens and only wish I could loose him the ammount I've been robbed of. I wanna take the pricks head off.

Have a read of this other thread if you can be arsed, might explain a bit more.

Overtorqued maybe, as you are suggesting, a sheared bolt is a sheared bolt... USUALLY just unlucky, but when the engine has been rebuilt a ciouple of times you would expect it to be renewed, if it was, no real reason why wouldve broken,.... But going by Marks usual 5hit, wouldnt be suprised if it was down to him....

Sorry to see this brasso

Bit drunk at the mo but I recon the engine is gonna find a new home in our track FRST after someone in the know has had a look, then the cab can have a normilish engine in it!
