depends on bore wear

for what a breather kit will cost, I'd say that fitting one wouldn't be a bad idea

forget that on a std 2wd i/c in the summer. you want a 4x4 one at least.

the greens/ 3 bar might not be required at circa 280 bhp also

as above. if you are only running 18 psi on greens and a 3 bar MAP on a t3, make sure that you have a chip to suit. most will be for t34 and will overfuel like hell loosing you power, using oil, higher fuel consumption, shorter spark plug life etc.

if you only want to run 18 psi, i would see NMS about a 'gunship' setup

I have a gunship conversion but running greys and 3 bar it gives 316 bhp and 346 ft/lb torque (with a 4x4 intercooler as its a fourbie)

think he means 3 bar MAP sensor, not 3 bar boost

it's better to use a 3 bar MAP as the ecu can then see what the boost is rather than guessing (as a gunship midrange boost is higher than the standard 2 bar one can read). by using greys (or dark greens) with that conversion, you don't have to run higher fuel pressure like you do with yellows to get enough fule flow at the higher boost (higher fuel pressure = more load on fuel pump and wiring)

cheaper greens would be fine, but maybe he already had the greys or is looking to the future when he may replace turbo with a monster or something and only wanted to buy injectors once
